Silverlink Swansong 1 Tour 3rd November.

Here you will find my photos of my trip on the Silverlink Swansong 1 which was TnT'd with 37417 and 37410 along the Silverlink lines as a farewell.

The name plate and number as 37417 idles at Tring after coming up from London on the DC lines then onto the mainline at Watford Junction.
325008 in Wembley Train Care, we were not actually booked through the shed, this was very rare as no passenger train has done such a thing for many years!
37410 clagging like a steamer whilst heading to Barking.
37417 carrying 1 of 2 nameplates "Silverlink Swansong" at Barking.
Nice clear shot of 37417, about to head a very hellfire trip to Bletchley.
Silverlink staff next to the shunter. the most important staff member in the line up is Catherine, as the shunter is named after her.
The soon to be gone logo and the nameplate.
"Catherine" As she runs round.
37410 idles on what now is the rear of the tour as 37417 will take the train to Bedford.
37410, in better health than she has been, with firebells ringing, she waits to depart Watford Junction for the final leg of the tour.

I'll miss you Silverlink, been 10 years of great service.
